    PSA have appointed a new Director of Spares and Service. He will report to the Finance Director and his responsability spans all the marques.

    Peugeot is about to sell its scooter division to the Indian Mahindra Group.

    They have recently released a 3 wheeler in competition with the Piaggio that is selling extremely well.

    Sadly not distributed here anymore (since 2009) when the importers (Stony Creek Motorcycles) went broke.

    There's some interesting developments in ownership of motorcycle brands recently. VAG started the movement by buying Ducati, and installing the brand under its Audi marque. Fiat is looking at buying Piaggio (Vespa, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi) as well.

    Interesting times indeed.

    PSA and Mahindra have announced the conclusion of the deal for the Indians to buy 51% of the scooter division and for them to inject 15 million euros into the operation.

    I have seen a comment that Xavier Peugeot who was Product Director of Peugeot has moved over to CitroŽn as part of the strategy to revitalise the brand.
