Default Problem with threads being read when I haven't

    Hi All

I'm having a problem with random threads on here showing up as read, even though they have new posts in them and I haven't read them.

    Is anyone having this problem?
Does anyone have any suggestions for what could be happening?

    Thanks
    Lyn

Must be your alter ego reading them before you.

I occasionally get that, in my case it seems to be a Microsoft glitch as the browsing history is affected.

Well, it appears it is not just a Microsoft Glitch! Perhaps someone else is reading your mail as well!
Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone............

Do you perhaps also use a smartphone or iPad/tablet with Tapatalk (or the AF app) to view AF?

That's what sometimes causes this to happen to my threads.

    Simon

Are you using/running a system cleaner like Glarysoft, speedtweaker or such?? if so many delete the cookies from the temp folder of your browser, if this is the case many have an option tab where you can change the settings.

I already checked with my alter ego. It's not them, and I'm not using anything else to browse AF, so who knows. A glitch in the system it would appear

Have you checked your settings within this app or how you view your login online?

I have a similar problem. I normally use the "New Posts" option at the top of the page, and catch up with anything interesting across all forums. However sometimes when I open Aussie Frogs after not checking for a night or maybe a couple of days, it tells me there are no new posts! In every case when I look there are new posts in a number of threads...

It's as if at a certain time all threads/posts are set to 'read' and if I log in just after that point, it appears there are no new posts!

It only seems to have been happening since the new version of Aussie Frogs was introduced. I either don't bother looking for missed posts, or use the "New Activity" button to see what I have missed.

    Cheers

    Alec
