Many thanks from here too - public holiday in WA today. I'm sure that was a huge amount of work!

I think we narrowed it down to you.

There were a few suspects, but they were either not in front of a computer at the time, didn't have the broad knowledge of old and new cars and somehow didn't quite have that Warwick feel

    Default Please explain?

A full weekend without the aussiefrog is bad enough but to loose a month of posts is tougher, what happened and any chance of restoring the most recent threads?
Less frequent visitors may not be aware of the temp site crisis and think the members have abandoned the froggers.
It could have worse of course and well done administrator.

    1 month's worth of data...

Im sure if we pull our collective heads together we can restore Alan's thread about content, GTi180Killers questions about "why oh why threads get closed" etc.

or we can just let those topics slip into the never never regions of deleted items not to be spoken about anytime soon.

Great work admin guys restoring the db (now go and get some sleep) !

Had to reregister to get back into the forums, but hope all went smoothly with the date restoration. Some interesting threads were lost and I have to post at least 50 more times before I am not a tadpole again but no probs

Thank goodness we didn't loose the epic "Performance Upgrade" thread, started by GTi180killer (now Gak306!). So much work went into that thread.

Moderators are here to ensure the smooth running of the board and not condone controversial posts.
Also in the media there's an old saying "Old news is no news" and this is "Old News"
So there's an explanation for why this thread has been closed.

    Alan,

    I think I missed something.
    What is old news?
    Which thread has been closed?
