Default Gilles Panizzi to The Diamond Badge

I just read in the Motor or Wheels magazine (I can never tell the 2 apart by the content alone) that ex- Peugeot Works driver also, The Tarmac Specialist - Gillies Panizzi scored a full season drive with Mitsubishi 2004 WRC EVO8(??) he will participate all WRC events. Also I think Petter Solberg's brother is the second driver in the Mitsu Team.

    Why can't Gillies stay french??

In the same magazine, it talks about the new Mitsubishi styling and how each model slightly resembles each other...(like the french).....it is because the head designer for Mitsubishi is a FRENCHMAN.

    Cheers

PS, In a seriousness, I am no way a Mitsubshi fan!! But I am a Panizzi fan

He was learning how to drive on the gravel/lose surface competitively over last couple of years in a number of events with Peugeot. If I remember correctly he did quite enjoy and feel confident on the lose surface.

But he is still the Tarmac Specialist.

In one of the WRC documentary, interviewer asked why he fell in love with rallying especially tarmac....that was becasue when he was a kid he lived in the mountain areas and saw a rally Alpine (don't know which kind) going sideways in front of his house...and he knew that is what he had to do.

I saw that on the WRC site... Oh and for those who follow the WRC, season starts this weekend in MONTE CARLO... GO THE PUGS... Looking forward to seeing the new 307WRC in action... although i have footage from testing..

I know this is very early, but the Rally Australia this year is the Last Event of the Season, date - November 11-14, is anyone going (W.A's or Anyone)?? Cause i will be coming over, would be nice to meet some Western Fellow Froggers..

Also found out, the hotel i will be staying at, is like a stone throw to Gloucester Park... SCORE...
