Is it back in Africa now..?
Every day when I wake up I reach up in the darkness with my eyes shut and if I cannot feel anything that resembles a wooden lid I know it will be a good day. No lid today.

it is hard to imagine it going back to north africa, given the prevalence of insurgency in those parts.

The African route was more interesting. Dakar to Algiers used to be the French proving route in the 1920's. I enjoy the truck competition nowadays.

In Africa you would need a 'Tiger Tank' or equivalent to survive the Dakar Rally! I be watching in 15 minutes. Thanks for the heads up.

The Russians do hold tank cross country driving competitions. Rough affairs, you wouldn't want to get in the way and hard on the spine. There's no comfortable way of landing an airborne one.

Could not help but notice that the Aussie rider, T PRICE, is from (AUT).

Assuming that this is just a package that SBS buys, it is not SBS's fault, but hopefully they have enough clout to advise the packager of their error.

And ask for a new commentator whilst they are at it.

Our boy Toby is now out of the Dakar with a broken leg. Will miss his Aussie accent during interviews.

Sad to hear about Toby, was hoping he would do a back to back win, also Saintz had a big rollover in his Pug,end of his rally,
but the other three pugs are still running strong,go Seb.

The remaining three 3008DKRs are one, two & three and set to win.
