Petter Solberg's brother Henning has signed to contest limited events in a Bozian-run Peugeot 206 WRC during the 2004 World Rally Championship.

The 31-year old Norwegian (pictured above right), who has previous experience of the WRC, will attempt seven events in a deal brokered by Peugeot Sport and Peugeot Norway and be co-driven by Cato Menkerud. His season will start with February's Swedish Rally.

"I am very happy and thankful to those who have supported me in this programme," Solberg said. "Aside from a drive with a factory team, I look at this as the best possible option for me. I believe that the 206 will still be very competitive. I really hope I can be in the points in some of the events.

"First of all I'm really looking forward to Sweden. I love this rally and I love to drive flat out on snow. Even though I will only have been in the car for one day before the event, I hope it's possible to be fast enough," he added.

Hopefully he drives as good as his brother, Peter..
