    Can't be a Renault...the numbers don't go high enuf..
Every day when I wake up I reach up in the darkness with my eyes shut and if I cannot feel anything that resembles a wooden lid I know it will be a good day. No lid today.

Renault Fuego, I think. The font looks like Renault. It isn't a US one- our speedos at that time only went to 85mph by fed law.

Yeah, I thought Fuego too, but it's been a while since I had a Fuego and even longer since I had a dash apart.
Sitting in the dash the speedo seems to only have a flat along the bottom, but the other flats on either side could be hidden by the facia.

    Cheers Renomad

Ha! What Peugeot. Renault. Citroen has a speedo clocked to 150 mph ?
My first impression was Jaguar. They used Jaeger instruments in the past.

    I'm leaning towards Fuego.
    Possible Fuego turbo

One of those UK import Fuego turbo's that seem to be flooding the market at the moment.
