What a great show, especially the part where the Citroen 2CV and Peugeot 504's were featured.

Loved Roger Moore's al time favorite Bond car.
When Richard Hammond asked him what his favorite bond car was, his answer was the little 2CV.
This is a bloke who has driven the Aston Martin, Lotus Esprit (submarine car) All sorts of yanky iron and his favorite was the 2CV.

Good on you Roger you've gone up a few pegs in my book.

Roger is also quite old and has probably 'misplaced' his mind....He's older than Sean! He even forgot to wear socks for the interview

I missed it but could that be this show? http://www.streetfire.net/video/top-...-1_2403449.htm

I saw Skyfall last week and in the plot they blew up the original Bond Aston Martin! I hope it was done by photo tricks and not for real.

It was an interesting show. It's just a pity they didn't extrapolate on the 2CV more - such as revealing that the drivetrain was really a GS engine and box. The car is in the Citroen Conservatoire.

The vision of the prang on ice in Iceland was interesting. Did you notice what happened at the rear of the Aston Martin? (trying not to give it away GB)

I have always liked the Toyota 2000 GT and its association with Yamaha (I believe Yamaha did the twin cam head for the Toyota 6 in production of the GT). Looked good as a Bond car - I must never have seen that movie, I hadn't seen the Bond / Toyota before. According to Hammond on the show, when they commenced filming in Japan they found that Sean Connery just didn't fit in the car, so within a couple of weeks Toyota had made a convertible for the film. If that was the only convertible GT ever made, it would be a valuable car these days I would think.

He referred to it as that 2 stroke car!

The car blown up in Skyfall was not the real thing, it had been scanned and 3D printed.

It's Channel 9 - wait a week and it'll be repeated on one or all of their three channels.

The car chase in 'Never Say Never Again' didn't get a mention. I bought the DVD just for the chase, plenty of froggy eye candy and the lead player is as R5 Turbo.

The R11 that gets the roof torn off and then chopped in half in 'A View to a Kill' gets a brief look, but the sexy Fuego Turbo that some bad girls are driving, doesn't get a mention.

    Default Bond Aston Martin

One of the original Bond Astons is in the Louman Museum in Holland on the outskirts of the Hague.
They have quite a few cars with movie connections, and a very good collection of Spyker cars
including the first 4wd racing car 8.7litre 6cyl of 1904 or 5. Also a few interesting old Peugeots.
