    Default Any Polish Speakers Here?

Not Google Polish, but actual learnt/inherited language ability.

Wouldn't mind a little help with a supplier or two - there are some cheap OEM/spec goodies on offer for our older ('90s) French cars.

    Thanks, Adam.

I'll ask a friend at work. He's a mad keen Ebayer and has contacts all over the world, and was born in Poland.

At about $70 plus post, it's a good price for genuine.

Addo, is that a controller for the blower motor? They seem to be such a useless item (always dying) that maybe you are better just getting a cheap ($20) Chinese potentiometer and bypass the crap Citroen electrics altogether.

I will be connecting mine soon as the weather is heating up and I do not want to spend another summer with the Citroen speed related aircon (all windows down). Even the crappiest Jap cars always have working aircon and blower fans.

John, I have a redneck fix sorted. My circuit board cooked the tracks totally last week. The arrangement pictured, uses an Alfa 147 radiator fan resistor (should cost you all of about $15) to offer about 70% fan speed. As the resistor gets very hot, I had to find a creative location for it - the glovebox banished, provided such. It allows retention of the original wiring bar one link, the slider panel still alters temperature and (indirectly) switches the AC clutch.

The brushes on the fan motor, start about 22mm long. Mine are now less than eight - I believe loss of contact pressure due to this wear, has resulted in overstressing the controller module. Since my original lasted the best part of eight years, I am happy to drop $100 on a Valeo unit again.
