    Default Recycled Car Parts

    Hi All

What parts of a car have you recycled but not used as spare parts for a car?

Here is a few that I have done:

Car stands made from a Mini wheel, I have four of these.

Parts boxes made from the plastic backs of head lights from many Renault R12's.

Draw handles made from Renault R12 grab handles .

The parts bin is a work of art. A lot of Renaults gave their eyes for that

    G'day,
I agree, now if I could only work out how to remove the headlights from the 19E...

I've used the metal collars on the 404/504 spark plug covers (the holder the rubber seal in place) to kep lamp shades in place in the bedroom.

The 504 badge has been modified and now resides on my letter box as my house No.

That's given me food for thought........I've got a pile of junk in my shed (Flash, Boydie don't mention the Triumphs) that may be of use.

I have the striker plate from a door catch (from who knows what) bolted under the front bumper to the cross member of my 405(passenger side so as to not impede driver vision) to use as an attachment point for tying the forward end of roof loads.
