It's not just, or even much at all, for French cars (although the French Car Club of Tasmania will attend as a club, as might the bewilderingly distinct Citroen club) but for anyone in Tassie with a general interest in cars, it is a very nice range of interesting stuff. Last year had around 800 vehicles, one of which was my Djet (this year I'll take the 4CVG).

Basically meet Cathy Freeman Park - Homebush, beside the Olympic Flame (Monster Skate Park) at 7.30 am for a 7.45 am departure (approx) - This would need an event owner to organise depature time and a print out of route and stopping points.

Drive through Royal National Park, Freeway to Macquire Pass National Park (Albion Park) through Moss Vale, Bundanoon (Coffee stop at Yee Old Bicycle Cafe) Through Wingello, On to freeway, Goulburn etc. Arrive Wakefield around 12 noon.

Depart Sydney on freeway at own time

Hi all, we are long overdue for a drive day and after chatting to many of you at Sunday’s Classic Car Day display we have decided to do a run from the usual meeting spot of New Norcia Cafe in Mount Hawthorn via the hills to finish up at The British Car Day at Gin Gin on May 19th.
The tentative plan will be to leave around 9am and make our way there with a couple of pic/chat stops for lunch and ogle around lunchtime.

Invitation goes to all Peugeot Car Club of WA, OzRenaultsport, Aussiefrogs and French and Fantastic Automobile Club members .

All we need now is a nice twisty road to get us there, any suggestions? I will throw this over to everyone for discussion and aim to have it set in concrete by say the 10th.

All makes and models (French of course) welcomed!

The street show kicks of at 11;00AM, then many of the local winerys host many different breed of aotomobile. I can only speek for the Renaults, we are of to the Fox Creek winery for lunch.

Do Join! http://www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104370&goto=newpost Tue, 23 Apr 2013 13:10:10 GMT Hi all, just letting you know YOU are invited to attend the combined French & Fantastic Automobile Club, Aussiefrogs and OzRenaultsport convoy to this weekends Classic Car Day at Whiteman Park in Caversham.

We will meet centrally at New Norcia Bakery in Mount Hawthorn from 7:45 to leave at 8:25am SHARP. Here we can have a chinwag and some of the best pastries and coffee Perth has to offer....at Eastern States prices even!

This will allow us to drive to our combined display with which we must be in place by 9am.

For those wanting to display on the day it is NOT too late! I will simply give you a pass in the morning as we have 30 spaces and 25 cars confirmed.

Please PM me for more info.

It's always a great day. If this is the one day a year (aside from French Car Festival of course!) that you join a display then....this IS it!
