Default Photos from ICCCR 2012 Harrogate

    Hello all

I have uploaded my pics from ICCCR 2012 at Harrogate. More to come each day. A great event and a great location.

I have chatted to people from all over the world - some new acquaintances and some old. I have also purchased a few essential parts and finally got an inside right rear door handle for the D!

    I hope you enjoy!

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/craigke...7630989925948/

More photos will be added to the collection each day. Thank goodness for accomodation with free good wifi!

Awesome, I loved the 2cv with the gun mounted in the back. If the gun faced the other way I'm sure the top speed could be increased every time it fired!
Also loved the rebodied GS, bet that wouldn't pass modern design regs.
Lots of lovely cars too far away.

Sir, I was unaware that the green roadster was a rebodied GS never having seen such a thing before.
( I assume that is the one you were referring to ) ... It has the style of a Daimler SP 250 about it ... plain bl**dy ugly. Imagine how svelte a REAL GS without a roof would look ...

The drop top 4 door DS even looks better ( Rutter ??? conversion ) I am sure somebody will clear up that small matter.

Bruce - there is free WiFi on site - check your guidebook for details.

Of course we are going to Betty's, but that is on Monday for a very special occasion.

Thanks for the comments, and I will get more pics today. It is wonderful to be walking around town and see DSs and Tractions parked or driving around the streets.

I think Deb and I have now caught up with all the Aussies here. Chances of a group photo..... about nil unless I can find a professional cat herder!

Rob T, are you here? I'm travelling in a blue Fiesta, parked under a tree about where your guide map says "Tremery" today, and will try to park about there each day. If you've got a phone number, let me know. .

Great to that you're all having a good time, beautiful weather will certainly help. Craig, any chance of posting some profile photos of that white D Super with the roll back roof. I'd love to see more detail of the way it collapses back and how it seals at the rear of the B pilar. Cheers, Dave Rogers

Some more pics from Friday (just had to ask Bruce Hoad what day it is!). So many more cars and people here today.

I have now seen, heard and photographed the famous CGAT CX. Loverly! See the pics of the boot showing the nitrous installation and check out the tricky work with the pipework.

Hello Bruce. Yes, we are here but spend the morning touristing and are only at ICCCR after lunch. The Honda is ours. Dont know how you picked it! I am struggling with an iPad at the moment and can't figure out how to reduce a photo size so that it can be attached. Bumped into Bruce Elsegood this afternoon but haven't seen any other Aussies so far. I have a local SIM in the phone. Call me on 07435 438 136.

The director of the Citroen Conservatoire, Denis Huile, is sitting in the loungeroom of our apartment with lots of other French Citroenistes having had aperitifs and a pizza dinner. The rosŤ and pernod has been flowing tonight!

I have a small number of ICCCR 2012 stickers (courtesy of Citroen Classics, one of the sponsors) if anyone is interested.

These affairs have certainly grown since I last attended one. That was the 3rd in 1976, when CXs were considered a novelty. Great pics keep 'em coming.

    Hey Bruce,

On another thought, how about some shots of the range of GS interiors?

Personnally I am interested to know what kinds of cloth were used on the Birotors, as I intend to take mine back to orginal in the fullness of time

    Cheers,
    Andrew
