    That bit is always needed on an XM. It wears out quicker than you think, and it leaks more than you think, even when you think it is not the part that is leaking.

    XM Mechanic, you need it!

    PS for the curious, it joins plastic pipes of two different diameters in the pressure regulator drain.

    Yep still need the bit. Sorry I hadn't noticed the PM's. I used to get notified by a pop up and an email, but neither appeared.
