    Default GS 1220 spark plugs?

Wondering if any particular brand and type of spark plug works best in GSs?

What bought my attention to this are some Made in USA Champion Gold spark plugs N7YX on Ebay. Looking at the Haynes manual it lists 2 types "town traffic or operation in cold climates" N9Y + normal "open road" conditions N6Y. These N7YX seem to be midway?

    Thanks
    John

When I had GSs I found the best plugs to be NGKs. I have never had much luck with Champions.

    Default ngk or bosch

since my 2 stroke motorcycle days these have been my proferred brands ,possibly in a colder climate a hotter plug is required especially on an air cooled engine as it is more likely to take longer to warm up ,allowing the plugs to load up on choke cycle ,check the cross reference chart at your supercheep or parts place to get the equivalent plug in another brand ,PUGS ARE YOU HAVEING TROUBLE WITH THE PLUGS ,COULD BE CARBY RUNNING RICH ,BURNING TOO MUCH OIL ,ETC
