Icon10 Rare CitroŽn Collection for sale in Brisbane!

I was driving around the western suburbs in my M35 which I dragged out of my storage shed for a spin. Took me about 2hrs to get the plugs warmed up to start it, but that's another tale!

I pulled up to the Golden Fleece servo at Kenmore as the car was thirsty for a tank of super. This guy holding a copy of the Telegraph paper came up to me and was wondering if I'd be interested in looking at some of the Cits he had for sale.

To cut a long story short, I followed him in his 22CV Traction over to his house.

I took some of these photos today and the owner just emailed me the the description and the prices. He lives out near Mt Crosby and this is where the cars are located. Anyway, here's the rundown...

1967 DS 21 Pallas. Tabac leather and silver. Hydraulic gear shift. Immaculate collector condition with no rust. 35,000 genuine miles on the clock. Ex-Swiss embassy car from Canberra. $29,500

1955 11BL Traction. Tan interior. Light green. Goes well. Starts first time, every time. It was my wife's car but now she bought a Xantia. $18,900

1972 Ami Super. Blue with black targa interior. I bought this car over to Australia from when I was working in Iraq as a sand salesman in 1991. LHD. Very rare in Aus Iím told. Featured in Gardening Australia magazine. $12,000

1966 2CV LHD daily driver, collector car and very reluctant sale. 40,000 miles on clock. Have NOS sliding roof for the car. $16,900

Mrs Last seemed extremely happy with her Xantia.

Also I heard that Lance of DS Motors has decided to expand the business and include a Peugeot Branch.
Wonder when that will be open? Anyone heard?

Is that an after market scoop to help with heat dissipation?

I know Donat's not talking about my collection, 'cause my D still has paint.

Quite! I remember the happy occasion I was able to afford two-toned rust! A step up, that was.

Someone tell Harley- I think we've found the project D for his engine swap.
