Icon5 Fitting factory foglights to an Xantia SX...

    Hi Folks,

Does fitting factory foglights to a Xantia SX (i.e. one currently within foglights) involve anything more than installing the lights in their receptacles, connecting (hopefully) nearby wiring and fitting a different steering column stalk?

In other words, is it a "plug and play" exercise, or are additions to the existing SX loom required?

Thanks in advance for any replies...

I did this a few years ago on a 99 SX, and from memory it was just as you described. Most fiddly part was replacing the lighting stalk. Getting the front bumper off wasn't that difficult, but check you have removed all fasteners before you try pulling it off - there is a small one on each side that is easy to miss.

It's a waste of time, the foglights on the Xantia are even more useless than the headlights.

A good set of driving lights would be far more useful
