    I liked the description "used".

They'd no doubt restore that in UK. Shame about the body condition - I really like H vans.

Why,why, why are there so many desirable cars constantly popping up...I want this one but can't have it either...no space.
Every day when I wake up I reach up in the darkness with my eyes shut and if I cannot feel anything that resembles a wooden lid I know it will be a good day. No lid today.

As soon as it hit $5.00 it was out of my price range ...... You'd stick it straight onto club rego and drive it around town if it's structurally sound. I reckon the kids would love being carted around in that :rolfmao: Fixing corrugated panels (eventually) would be quite a challenge though.

    Agreed.

I wonder why we didn't get them here; could it be because they would've rusted out by the time they hit the wharves from France?

Sounds like it would need more than toes to get it moving...whole feet, ankles, legs even.

Well, I looked at this H van this morning and it is very badly rusted at about all of the seams. I talked to the owner who runs a business there and was quite happy for me to poke around all by my self as he had to go inside for an phone call. My nearly three year old had a ball behind the steering wheel and the cargo bay. back to the rust. It is everywhere! the floor is also quite bad. One of the rear windows in the barn doors is about to fall out! Before the owner dashed back inside, he told me it has been sitting there for the last 4 years or so. (without any cover). The only thing that looks ok is the chassis. I think it would make more sense to get a good one from overseas if you wanted one of these as the cost and headache of fixing this one would be very big, unless you do it your self and don't count the hours.Good luck.
