Default making an auxillary input for 1st gen c5

my '02 c5 has a cd stacker, is it possible to buy/make an adaptor to use this input to the stereo an aux input instead?

or, is it possible to fit a later model stereo in, while keeping the wheel controls and display screen?

Aftermarket headunit may be a better option, these days you get bluetooth for hands free mobile, USB and aux intput for a few hundred dollars.

Have a look here for a harness, straight swap no need to cut and splice wires.

...and here for a Wheel Stalk Control adaptor.

    "Déesse" Roland Barthes, 'Mythologies', 1957

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

just a floow up to say thanks and i bought the parts from dynamic sounds. arrived well packed and within the timeframe they said. although the online tracking was useless.

i bought sony head unit as it matched the interior the closest. i have steering wheel control and with a small mod to the iso-sony adaptor i also have auto dimmer control

    thanks for the links GreenBlood.
