Default New Citroen Advert during Home & Away

Dont know if anyone else saw this cool Citroen advert last night during Home and Away. (We were not watching Home and Away just flicking across).

Lets hope we see some more adverts and ATECO opens up the purse strings...

    Default Ad

    It is a nice ad.

38 grand drive away for a new C5.... That is a bargain.

DS3 does nothing at all for me, and reference to DS....what a stupid reference to a great car, and a link to something very run of the mill. Not boring, but regular. They must be getting unoriginal and hard up for model designations. Why not a fresh new tag?

Yes a DS1 is far better in many ways. But I think the demister and wipers would work a whole lot better in this wet weather.

I wouldn't even flick across it. You've got more guts than I have to admit you even did that.

As usual, the local Citroen website is a letdown and it's difficult to find useful information. It looks flashy, but try finding a simple list of models and specifications. I suppose you are meant to use the 'Request a brochure' link. However, ... the Euro is somewhat weaker, which would help, but there is apparently also a new model without the hydraulic suspension etc.. That would bridge the gap between C4 and C5. Some people would have left the brand when they had outgrown a C4, but didn't want either a people mover type vehicle or hydraulics. The one on offer currently is a turbo petrol, which will be the 1.6, mercifully with the 6 speed automatic and, although it's not explicitly stated, I expect it has coil springs. Pug in drag??? Regardless, it's certainly worth a look as I've been told it's a package that works very well and gives away little to some of the more complicated and expensive models.

Year nice ad. I wouldn`t mind a C4 for everyday drive.

Apparently it is "easy and quick to use, with the depth of information demanded by CitroŽn customers".

My Wife and I regularly watch Home and Away . We really enjoy it. I think it is small minded and petty to put down people whose television tastes are different from their own. Does it make you feel superior or something?
    Cheers Gerry
BTW No we did not see the add. I think we get more adds for Cydectin, Claas and Lydiard Street Antique Store, than adds from ATECO. We even get a few Shepparton and Albury adds here in Western Victoria. Who can work out how these advertising gurus think? Not me!

    Default Home and away

    And now Charlie is dead!!

    EEk.

Great entertainment indeed, and I never thought that I would be hooked, but it is filmed in my backyard practically and I is good value. I have family members too that think they are superior whenever you mention it, bloody snobs
