It'll be the same as an ID ?? Post a piccie of it, I'll likely have one here for you.

edit: oh gee's you said dspecial, I have a parts one of them here. I'll see if they are less rusty than the rest of the car (they'll need to be to be any good to you!).

    Default DS Roof Clips

    Thanks Shane
Rusy ones may be better than nothing. Some one has been using Spire nuts on mine so I carn,t send any pics. You wil lsee the clips in question when you remove the bow shaped piece of S/S from the rear of the roof. I think all late model D,s are the same in this regard.

    Brian,
I still have my roof off the car, I'll try to get pics of the correct clips so that others may be able to help. A few of mine were in a sorry state so good replacements would be useful to me also

    Cheers

So how many clips do we need for the two cars? The rusty wreck here only had one clip in the middle? One of the ID19 roofs had more clips than the other two wrecks combined.

It looks like they slot in like this.

Six could be right. I've found 10. The black ID had six, the DSpecial had 1 and the other id wreck had 3. If Brian PM's me his address I'll send six to him, you can have the other 4. Yours maybe better than these, I'm not sure (there certainly all pitted with rust).

If I was doing a roof, to be honest I think I'd stick the trim on with sikaflex rather than re-use this clip system
