    DSdownunder

This remarkable archive is a compilation of articles on the DS and ID series Citroens published in the Australian motoring press from 1955 to current. It now consists of over sixty articles from many sources.
For D enthusiasts this material gives a fascinating insight to how the cars were viewed by contemporary motoring journos, and how they compared to rival makes at the time. The earlier articles also provide a useful history of the sourcing of Ds in Australia in the Ďfifties through local assembly in the Ďsixties.
Available on CD for the cost of the media plus postage ie $5 in Australia.

    Fantastic!
The CD arrived yesterday and is wonderful. So much useful information and I think many hours of enjoyable reading.
    Thanks Roger

    This sounds interesting.

I wonder if it has a copy of an article I remember reading (must've been in the seventies) where the reviewer told the story about being out in the D and having a new, low slung Jaguar pull up beside him with the driver looking oh so smug and assured of himself.

Just for kicks, the reviewer dropped the D to the ground.... 
    Cheers,
    Michael

If the article was from the 60s, the Jag owner would have the last laugh as a single piston pump would take a while to get the car back up to ride height.

That's a good memory for someone so young Michael, but I may have read the same article. Could David MacKay (sp?) have written it?

Does it include the Wheels magazine road test of DS23 EFI vs Holden Commodore? I'd love to read that one again.

I'd like to read for the first time....especially if there is nose-in-poo statistical information I can throw at various unappreciative friends and relatives.

No, it doesn't and I would be happy to add it to the collection if anyone has a copy.
