    Default Another H van

I have just bought another H van - body rotted right through. It is a mad, mad world - I need the tyres!

What's mad about that? During the war my father bought another motorbike for its new back tyre and petrol ration coupon.

Good work Gerry. How many DS4 are you seeing on the roads over there? I was just reading the brochure on it. It sounds amazing.

one and several in the showrooms. Judging by the DS3 you have to wait until about 50,000 are delivered before you see them in everyday traffic.

    Default Think laterally...

Would make a wonderful chicken coop as the bits and pieces that can be salvaged are removed. Hey with all the corrugated body work they could believe their Australian, just remember to talk to them in English and hype up the accent!

I see it comes with the rare factory moss option. Talk about going green...

It looks like there's quite a few salvageable parts left. You planning on going any further than wheels and tires?

    Hi,
Hm'm I thought that the war was well gone even in France Roger. Perhaps the war on the Euro is current now and this is a hedge against that !!

If only your father still had that pair of bikes, he could probably get his money back with interest notwithstanding the tire is now worn but the coupons may come back.

Oh I would like a H van camper I know the problems and pitfalls but I would still like one. Probably never happen though. Anyone seen that one lately which was for sale in NSW a while back. The price dropped a few times so it might be getting down to my sort of scale now.

Yes it was bought by a well known Qld Citroen couple who have added to their small fleet. They collected it a few weeks ago and drove it home. Some minor work to be done and then it will be used for journeys around Qld and maybe further.

The whole front module is worth saving and the rear suspension and brakes. The screen wiper motor is a rare beast and worth having as well. I am buying a distributor this weekend to get the motor up and running.
