Default How much for a rust free Cit. D door?

I have 4 D (special) doors of the one car I stripped some years ago and I was thinking one day I might need them, but that may never happen and they are really in my way. I have two others as well, so 6 in total. I am not giving them away, so, what are they valued at? Thanks for your input, Bad Bertie

The set of 4 are cream(but if you were to restore car you would repaint) and all have glass and trim( which is crap) one of the other two has glass and the other has not and no trim to speak of.

A set of four doors were advertised recently on AF for a grand, so I guess that would equate to $250 a door. Hope that helps.

Well, that was what I thought. Two years ago I offered the whole car for a grand and no takers.Anyone who has wrecked one, knows whats involved in doing so. Bloody hard work. Thank you donat.

Bertie, pics may help you get an appraisal. Good images especially of the underside (bottoms).

The doors advertised and sold in Brisbane were in very good to excellent condition - that is zero rust and very straight, I was very tempted and at $250.00 each a fair price - wrong timing for me, then and now.

Well, I may do that in good time, but what i failed to mention was that three of the cream doors were re skinned by Chubba (Penrith). The third one has holes on the side were a strip used to be.

If they *really* are good doors.. Yes worth good $$$$. Most pretty looking doors I've seen are junk sadly A few kilograms of bog can hide a lot of sins.

If the lower door rubbers aren't rotten and falling off, it's likely the doors aren't rusty under the paint/bog .... but no guarantee

Simply ask yourself how much you will need to pay a (competent) panel beater to sort out a rusty or dented door and, assuming you are not DIY-ing the repair, even a $400 door can begin to look like a good deal.

So then, on the subject of panels how much for ...
    NOS Safari rear guard?
    NOS rear D guard?
NOS D driver's door skin (unfortunately with surface rust and some shallow dents?)
    NOS late D bonnet?

The two right doors on my car were the worst and required some considerable work at Schenk and Co. The costs to restore these two doors was around $1000.
