What a fantastic ID, and to think I grew up in Alphington too, albeit over 35 years ago !!

Lovely shots DS, I particularly like the shot with the Safari, the light streaming diagonally across the image is sublime (I don't want to hear it was photoshopped) what a great setting to show off the cars.

...but then most of your compositions I have admired

    Cheers

...very nice, the black and white is reminiscent of much of the photography of the D's era, well for me anyway.

When you say Polaroid do you mean the old style where you get an instant(ish) print from the camera, format was square?

Part of my appreciation is that these are not just car shots, there is a story in the Safari shot... the cars are just props... like a well written novel

Well you can't use the crank handle on a 5 speed DS! A great day for a starter to almost die!

That I'm all to aware of (one big disadvantage of the 5 speed), starter was the begining of my car being off the road for nearly two years

...nasty job, highly recommend the Valeo replacement.

Sorry to take this thread so far off topic... I'll have to find some images to post

Thanks Ramonm! Yes, alphington - we have had a citroen service person literally around the corner but I've never used them because I service myself and get important work done in Brisbane. Thanks for the positive comments...

    Great pics Michael,
What sort of flat tray was that?

    The panorama shot looks great.

My Safari is outside under a cover at the moment, displaced by a certain CX which received cheap sound today, inbetween phone calls.
Also took the plunge and spent 50 knicker on a sticker. It better be good.
Maybe I'll make it to a barbie this year, or some other out of town event. The CX is up to it.

Alas, if there were only a bolt in Denso PMGR starter replacement solution for D's! I put one in my Chrysler Imperial and never looked back! Amazing, the power that tiny thing had!
