    Default Renospares closing

RENOSPARES/PEUGEOWRECKING in Keilor East is closing its doors for good at the end of this month.

Everything must go, we are having a $50 sale this weekend, Saturday and Sunday 9th and 10th April.

All you can carry for $50. If you can carry an engine out to your car on your own its yours for $50. There's lots of stuff here, turbo chargers for example, carry one its $50, carry 2 and its still $50, carry as many as you can.
There's engines, gearboxes, radiators (some new), there's even a set of pistons from a 306 GTi6, camshafts, doors etc. I had someone ring up looking for some 205 doors and I said we didn't have any, I've found some. $50 the pair if you can carry them. There's even some new 504 door skins.

There's a complete cabriolet leather interior, if you can carry it its $50 including the pallet or $50 per seat if that makes it easier to carry (still a cheap leather interior)
There's even a complete 306 cabriolet there, if you can carry that out to your car on your own you deserve it for $50, plus that fact that if your that powerful I'm not stoping you.

Rules are simple, first in first serve, we can't hold anything because we don't know whats here and we wont reserve anything. If you can't make it send a friend.

Parts range from 407 down to 404, Kangoo down to R12, C5 down to CX

    EFTPOS is available.

THE SCRAP MEN ARE STANDING BY WITH DROOL RUNNING FROM THERE MOUTHS.

Ok, ok... you have me interested. What sort of parts is there? Are the NOS, rebuilt ... or "possibly usable" parts. I imagine the citroen parts there would be very tiny.

The thought of delving deeply into a pile of parts is always attractive.

Thanks for the opportunity to rummage through the kitchen drawers, Dave.

Now to work out the best way to get a pair of Froggy seats into the Mini.

How about posting pictures of all the "parts jugglers" trying to carry everything at once.

    Cheers, Pottsy

I don't think anyone took any photos, a shot of you guys carrying out those seat would be good.

No Citroen people turned up, the only Citroen sale was the DS front indicator you got.

Gee's there's a surprise .... I'm still happy to pay you to send up CX front indicator lenses if they haven't been chucked into the scrap metal pile (hopefully someone grabbed them).

Shane, hate to tell you this but CX front indicators are not made of metal so they wont be in the scrap metal bin.

They just get thrown in the rubbish and become land fill somewhere.

I don't think there was any anyway, a few rear ones.

Can't honestly say I noticed any CX bits at all.

I think the seats I snaffled are possibly Xsara, and the DS indicator was the only Citroen trim bit I recognised. (And they've cleaned up beautifully with some Meguiars "Quick Lift" foam cleaner)

The only other thing I saw with the chevrons on was a complete XU series engine. Too heavy and don't need.

I guess the fact that Rob called the businesses Renospares and Peugeot Spares (or similar) might have convinced the Citroen people that they weren't really represented. The afficianados amongst us know better, of course, but there you are.

Thanks again Dave. It was fun.

A pity Chris was too slow with a photo. A bit harsh perhaps but I might have to start calling him "Aspro".

(A family friend used to call his eldest son that. 'Aspro', for the younger ones out there, was a brand of aspirin. Also known as a "slow acting dope")

    Cheers, Pottsy
