Default A DS23ie returns to the road

Here are photos of a DS23ie 5sp Pallas that has recently returned to the road. It belongs to a CCC NSW member and sometimes AF lurker by the name of PyreePete. (not sure if he's back post the AF crash)

Anyway, Pete asked me to post the pics as he is "not too good at all that computer stuff".

I have known Pete for over 15 years now and the D has been a loooong term project most of that time. Last time I saw it about 3 years ago it was still a bare bones chassis and he was trying to work out what colour to paint it. Little did I know that in that time he made massive progress.

I think it is a beautiful result. Well done Pete and your helpers, especially Gus.

Now, do you think that someone might be able to get his 2CV back on the road soon?

By the way the roof is a silver shade.

Looks amazing, a credit to the owner. Always thought red was a strange colour on DS's but that looks great! Well done.

Looks fantastic. He seemed excited about it at the last CCCNSW meeting. Red is a bit different from the beige DS23 EFI Auto he had before this!

That looks very lovely. Hopefully there will be a chance to see it some day at a club event maybe.

There is clearly a great deal of work gone into that project. Do you have interior and under bonnet views too Craig?

Congratultions Peter, what a beautiful DS. It's great to see them coming back to life as there is nothing else on the road to rival them, and probably never will be again.
Mine should be on the road soon, as well

Why would looking at a DS inspire you to want a CX?

All DS owners living between Albion ParK and Nowra are advised to contact the SES who will provide a set of reinforced door seals and a rear bumper bracket for an outboard motor.

There were plans but some other stuff has clashed. Besides Peter is still in "short distance venture mode" at present and not yet confident of a long haul.
