    Default C5 Suspension Noise

A friend of mine has 2yo C5 with 27K on the clock - still under warranty - and is complaining about front suspension mechanical noise over speed humps and potholes.

Selling dealer says this is "normal" and won't do any thing.

In my simplistic view on life, I suggested that a sphere check/replacement would fairly quickly start to focus on where the problem might lie, but the dealer will apparently not do this.

Has any one here experienced or heard of this issue before?

Quite common even with the late type 3+ suspension, all I can say is please post if you find a cure.

    Default suspension noise C5

Adjust the front height sensor to raise the vehicle 8-10mm. [no more]

Worked for me. Raising the vehicle puts more oil in the struts to allow correct sphere dampening and stops all that knocking and banging.
