    Default CX wagon question

Can anyone give me the measurements of the rear window of a CX wagon please?
Width at top and bottom (if different) as well as the height please?

The door glass or the rear quarter?

Do you have a door glass there and your trying to figure out if it's prestige or wagon ??

i can measure the top part of the window, but I'm not dismantling the car to get an accurate measurement of the lower window width

I'm just after some idea of the size of the glass area in the tailgate. It doesn't have to be to the thousandth of an inch (or mms) I'm happy with the size from rubber to rubber.

    Thanks fellas

If you put a vertical panel behind the rear seat, you could grow anything at all in that greenhouse. And no-one would think of checking it out........

I forget just how big the wagons are!

When you go to reverse, there's quite a distance between you and the rear window after you look past two rows of seats.

    Default more measurements required please

My reason for seeking the tailgate glass size was to get some idea of the cost of a perforated vinyl graphic. It would reduce light and heat penetration (or so we are led to believe) Have found out that the vinyl sheet width is 1500mm.

I'm now wondering what the rear glass panels measurements are? The ones between the rear door windows and the tailgate. I'd need to know the length at top and bottom as well as the height at the front and at the rear please?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Get a high quality "lighter" coloured tint put in there. It made a staggering difference to my CX sedan They block 60% of the heat transfer through the glass (it makes such a difference you travel windows up if the sun it out, not matter how hot it is).

Converting the CX to a 'shaggin' wagon', Ross?

Where will you put the mirrorball?

At my age any balls would be appreciated!

As for a 'shaggin' wagon I wouldn't lend my prized new possession to anyone so there is not likely to be any of that going on!

Length is 860mm at the top, 990mm at the bottom. Height is a constant 380mm. There could easily be a variation of over 5mm from car to car depending on how snugly into the body the trim strips are stuck on. Hope this helps.

Thanks very much for that. Now to make a few decisions.
