    Found this on drive.com

    Citroen XM Limo V6 91, leather, all opt., low km, immac, $21,000 ono. WJV154 b.h. 9745 6111 a.h. 9742 5046

Is this the same car, ex French Embassy Canberra, or used car speak (Limo) is there a stretch XM out there?

    Cheers

I have seen the French embassy car. It was cream or white in colour but had DC plates when last seen.
I dont know why they've written Limo. The Embassys car was a standard car.
Rumour has it up until recently the embassy used to have a French mechanic come out and fix the thing when it went haywire.

    Hi all
NO...this is not the embassy car...that was a 96 model and they indicated that around $50,000 would be a suitable tender offer!!!
Also it appears that this car is in Melbourne
    cheers

I guess the ad was used car speak, Limo? and not connected to the French Embassy.

Can't imagine that the embassy got $50,000 unless there was something a bit special about this car, bullet proof glass, puncture proof tyres, helicopter launch pad, wine cellar.....

    Cheers

wish I had put a tender in...but after the diplomat indicated around $50k I quickly forgot it!! Esp considering someone on this board(craig?)
bought a 96 model with around 100,000 kms for $29k?approx and the series two was better....
    There was also a 92 XM V6..all options..210,000
kms for $10,000 neg!!!! It sold..
Hmmm now if my partner will let me...
    Cheers
