Default CX turbo motor & box +turbo

What does everybody think would be a reasonable price to pay for the above from the person we all know has them or would it be cheaper to import from the UK or greater europe my mind is thinking and its a worry not mention that the DS has a frightened look on its grill

I'd like to get in some front cuts. The problem with buying the motor and gearbox is you don't get the wiring harnesses and computers.

I wonder how much it would cost to get a few front cuts in ??

It's not to bad once you read the circuit schematics and understand what's going where, and for what reason ... Now the quality of said wiring

The main reason you need the harness if for the connectors, and so you have something to copy in order to make a newie (remembering that if anyone wants to retrofit the turbo donk into another CX they will not have the harnesses and computers).

What I meant was there is soooo much of it, and it's very heavy! I still have the harness from the turbo I scrapped, and will soon have the harness from the 22TRS I'm about to scrap. john s

Hey Smiffy, do you know what the going price for a turbo front cut is in your part of the world? I've been toying with the idea of bringing in a Turbo Diesel for my Prestige....

I really wouldn't have a clue, I've never priced up a front cut, most people here would expect you to buy the whole car, as it would otherwise leave them with all the crap to get rid of, which of course they aren't interested in doing!
End of life regulations here in england are now getting silly, as car "dismantlers" have to be licenced waste handlers. Traditional scrap yards are few and far between, as health & safety laws, and environment laws force many out of buisness. I used to be able to go to 10 yards near me, but now I'd need to travell to find one!!!!!
