Default Nurse, it is starting again!

I just couldn't resist having a punt at a series 2 CX safari on Ebay last week.
The car is injected, automatic and out in the sticks, so nobody wanted it. Owner confirms it is a viable car with little rust. At $155, I don't care if it is going to be thirsty

I bid on it, but didn't really want to win, as I have nowhere to put it just now, not to mention a very expensive holiday coming up!

Expect 22mpg in running around town Much like all other petrol CX's .... I dunno what they do with all the fuel, but they don't make a lot of power with it.

I'd love to get my hands on a wagon, there bloody massive, very useful things to have. Don't expect her to be a racecar though, you really need petrol turbo to get lots of accelleration out of a CX. It's going to be perfect for punting around town it without the notchy CX gearchange and clutch.

Shane, it seems that on the new CX club forum, "blofeld" has become the new owner of that car!! You know, If I still had the spare turbo engine and box, I'd love to have a go at putting that power train into a wagon, just for the hell of it
It'd be one of the fastest wagons on the road
