    Default Xantia Turbo initial assessment.

My initial assessment is very favourable. The car would do at least 200Km/H I would guess at and is increadibly smooth and tractable. The box is a delight to use, not quite a silky as a Renault 20 but no notchyness or rubbery feeling (like a Japanese car). Clutch operates right at the top which I assume is normal. The handling seems excellent but I haven't put it to the limit (mine not the cars). The ride at first seemed harsh (compared to a DS or even CX) but after a few Kms the absence of thumps made me realise "This is one very compliant suspension". The seating is better than my more aged Renaults. I reckon I like the thing.

Petrol, or Diesel? If petrol, i.e. activa, the car will do FAR in excess of 200kph!!!!
those 10 yes 10 spheres would be a nightmare to replace, as GSF don't do them anymore....genuine only!!

My mate has one for sale for £800 if anyone is interested. Bit of a long drive to collect it though
