citroen xantia station wagon advice wanted

    Hi,

I think I have now sold the 306 and am considering buying a Xantia Station Wagon.
Can anyone suggest what to look out for, or any
    advice regarding them

    Merci

A number of Brit owners seem to have complained about leaking tailgates leaving puddles under the back seats of wagons/estates. otherwise, I assume you've checked out the Citroen Xantia list on Yahoo (usual problem of having to register!)

I've a sedan not a wagon but I'd endorse the Xantia discussion page:

    <a href="http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Xantia-L/" target="_blank">http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Xantia-L/</a>

    Then there is this one:

    <a href="http://www.kolumbus.fi/anttijp/index2.htm" target="_blank">http://www.kolumbus.fi/anttijp/index2.htm</a>

    And this one:

    <a href="http://www.andyspares.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=3&CAT_ID=3&Forum_Title=Citroen& whichpage=1" target="_blank">http://www.andyspares.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=3&CAT_ID=3&Forum_Title=Citroen& whichpage=1</a>

I love my Xantia. I'd say most of the grumbles you'll find on the pages are similar to those on anything that was discussed openly. I get the impression that the hydraulics are usually pretty reliable. Great cars.

    Good luck.
