    Hang on guys,

did someone use the word 'woeful' & 'citroen brakes' in the same sentence.... No, couldn't have been... You serious??? Citroen has built a car and hasn't been so ridiculous with the size of the brakes that you couldn't tow an unbraked car trailer if you felt the need

Guess it doesn't have 'real' suspension under it either

only joking , what type of brakes does the AX have?, surely they haven't gone from those Mamoth sized inboard disks on DS/SM/GS to a crappy setup? Even the CX has 4piston calipers up front, 2piston calipers rear. Did you know between the slowest CX ever made (CX2200 diesel wagon) & the fastest (cx2500gti turbo) the brakes are identical, yep the same, that's how overboard 'Cit' usualy goes with there stoppers.... You can quadruple the horsepower & not touch the brakes.

The AX uses 1 single pot in the calipers, the pads are about the same size as the CX REAR, disks are solid and are about as big as a rice cracker
