Default Eh... only with a Citroen ;)

Just discovered another unique feature to my C4...

If you move the steering, whilst the interior light is on, it dims (quite badly) and flickers....

    How unique is that

Probably because they were just so cheap, that the battery is too small

Not a biggie, still a superb, unique car, but funny, nevertheless.

    Electric power steering draws current...

Like in prison where they use electric chair to execute prisoners.
Lights go dim in the cell block while they are frying the inmate.

Thats B. S!!!..... that only happens in the movies & the simpsons, but never the less the affect is the same. But the lights don't go dim when they 'fry' some one (although they don't acctually die from burns, but from arrest of the nervous system.).... as for the C4's flickerin well that tells me the alternator/charging system is piss weak too. ha - Chris

Have you checked under the bonnett? Maybe a cat has crawled under the bonnet and when the steering mechanism operates, it may be pressing the animal against something electrical, hence interrupting the flow if current much in the same manner as the electric chair.
