Had the same trouble with one of my back doors. It would open from the inside but once locked would not respond to the plip.

The entire lock was replaced under warranty at Continental Motors; no more problems.

Good luck in sorting it out.

    Mark.

Had both rear door external locks fail to release within a week of each other a couple of months ago: had to get them both replaced, and had a fight about it with Ateco, as I had done 75k (in 2 years). They eventually agreed to pay for the parts ($350 ea!!), and I had to pay about $340 or so for the labour. And now the driver's door's doing it intermittently, so sometimes we have to use the key.

BE WARNED: Don't use the child-locks on the inside rear doors, because if the external locks fail to release, it's apparently a major job to get the door open again - that's what we did!

    Cheers, Un-Happycamper

I forgot to mention, the drivers door lock on my Peugeot 206cc, did funny things, it kept saying drivers door open, when it was closed, and they had to replace the entire lock!! Under warranty.
