There's some info on it on the Citroen.com site :
    http://www.citroen.com/CWW/fr-FR/HISTORY/CONSERVATOIRE/

The physical location is I think at Aulnay or Aulnay-sous-Bois, north of Paris.

The WWW site says that the Citroen Conservatoire "is not open to the public"!!!
Has this changed - are you now allowed in??
So many projects - so little time.

    NO!!!

The conservatoire is a resource that Citroen use from time to time. It is NOT a museum.

However, occaisionally, people are allowed a glimpse of what is inside, but it has to be by prior appiontment, and as part of a group like the CCC for want of an example.
I'm still waiting for the chance to look around it myself!!! john s

I reckon it's worth breaking in.. illegally ofcourse, by the sounds of it.

I don't know why they don't turn it into a museum, easy way for some additional revenue! Lazy French

I'm told by some friends who've been there, that the place is a health & safety nightmare! There are no facilities. Poor disabled access.
There are sharp edges, very fragile "exhibits" and everything is really crammed in there. A "museum" has the exhibits spaced out so you can at least walk around them.
It really is only a giant storage facility.....it's just that what is being stored is what we would find VERY interesting!!! john s
