    Default Xsara VTS service schedule

    Hi Guys,
Would anyone know the service schedule for the Xsara VTS?
Just had it's 90,000KM service with timing belt done and I'd like to know what's coming up on the future services.

I would think the timing chain was pretty major. There shouldnt be anything much more major.

Read your owner's manual or service book. It should indicate what you are up for.

When we had our Xsara 1.8 (8v) in for a check a couple of weeks ago, our mechanic told us we should do the pulley as well as it's noisy. Is yours noisy at idle, just a little bearing type rattle.

P.S. Daniel they have timing belts

Mine can be noisy at idle, but it sounds more like there's a rat stuck in the catalytic converter... Of course, either it never plays up when it's at the dealer's service department, or they've got an absolute anti-frenchman checking the car...
