    Default Headlight Replacements

Hey just wondering whats the best ones for the xsara. I want to put a set of those blue Phillips ones in, but I'm not sure if the wattage will be too much.

Find the handbook and look it up. I reckon replacement with the same spec as you have got now would be the best idea.

55W is generally the standard in these types of cars. You don't want to go too high with wattage as this can cause polycarbonate lenses to deteriorate.

Just replaced the globes in the 307 with Osram Silver Star, pretty happy with them. A very good white beam, not surprised that they won tests.

The Silver stars and the Philips VisionPLus are the best around.
I think the Narva 50%+ are rebranded Silver stars...

Avoid the blue tinged bulbs... they actually produce less light!
MOst are also not ADR approved.

Does everyone realise that you should change your bulbs every 2-3 yrs regardless of whether they blow. They slowly loose efficiency.
