Default xsara 2001 hdi wont start

    Hi Guys,

I need some help with Xsara 2.0 HDI 2001.
The engine wont start at all.
I checked all the sensors and fuel delivery and it all looks perfect.
    I also connected a scanner.
It got a bunch of DTC's on it but I can not erase them
What do you think is the problem?
Do you know how to erase the faults from the ECU?

On that note, is there any diesel in the tank? I mean, is it empty?

Common problem on early HDi's over here (UK) is the low pressure fuel pump. Just packs up without any warning, usually at about 60k miles / 100k kms, resulting in a no start situation, and no sensible fault codes in the ECU. Yours is probabably about the right age / mileage. Not heard much about the later ones so they look to have sorted it. Trouble is, the pump is expensive, even here.... Don't know if there is an easy way to test it either.
