    Default DS part dimensions

OK, Here's a big ask for someone with a DS out there. I'm in the process of refurbishing the headlamp tilting mechanism of Moby Dick and I need to know the size of a part I'm missing.

The bit in question is the piece of bent rod used as a "mechanical integrator" to transfer the sum of the motion of the front and rear anti-roll bars to the headlamp tilt bar. It looks a bit like in my drawing attached. (I hope!)

I'd like to know the dimensions of it, in general, but particularly the length between the kinks at either end. Obviously this will determine the degree of movement imparted to the lights, so I want it to be the right size.

It's not all that hard to get to under the bonnet, so if anyone wants to have a sticky beak with a torch and a ruler, I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks, Pottsy

    EDIT

Come on guys! Am I the only one on the forum who knows how to open a DS bonnet? Someone must be able to reach in there with a ruler, surely.

I measured 55 mm. It certainly is more a flattened M. Here's a couple of pics (I hope).
