    Default xantia clock bulb

Can I pull my xantia clock out as a little separate unit to replace the bulb or do I have to do what haynes says & pull half the fascia off to access the re lease clips from the rear.?

You can unclip the clock alone, probably from the right, with a blade about 5 mm wide.
Done it before to reach the cabin temperature sensor that was noisy.
Will have to do it again because my clock bulb has gone too.

Thanks for that. So what'd you use, a stanley knife blade or some such?

    No, don't use anything sharp.
A stanley blade is also too wide.
    Use a flat-bladed screwdriver.
