at this stage it only mentions : "177bhp 2.0 for the Coupť-only VTS".

this is probably the same motor as in the Peugeot 206 GTi180.

In the things I have read so far, the more expensive models will feature a speed limiter.... Why do they have to ruin a great looking car? john s

Now thats where I'd like to be this weekend ! Checking out all the froggie displays and sitting in a C4 It is a real important car for Citroen as it could make or break Citroens sales push in Australia. Lets hope they get C4's pricing right and dont get greedy , leaving them with flagging sales like poor Renault. Interesting times ahead indeed!

they had better bring the AWD Turbo C4 to Australia if they decide to manufacture it. I am eager to see how they'll go in the european production car racing.

The rear of the Salon looks awesome. It is by far a stylish looking car. Feels like a stretched C3 with more defined lines. The front globes are BMW 7series elegant.

As for the coupe, though the drawings look sharp, looks like a remake of some 80's concept cars. It is rather bland/non-inspiring and is somehow a mix of Prius/Jazz/Megane.

The dashboard, *though complex in few spots* ressembles that of a Lancer

    Interesting.

I don't doubt it will sell well in Europe, but I wonder how it will go out here. I'm glad they've made it vastly different to the 307. What I find interesting though is that for years now PSA have been trying to push Peugeot as a premium brand and Citroen as their budget brand. The C4 looks quite upmarket and introduces some new technology to the family hatch segment.

The 5 door looks quite nice. It also looks bigger in those photos than any of its competitors. I think it is because it has the aditional side window where the others just have a thick C pillar.

Now, two things I'm not so keen on. The headlights - having an 'eyebrow' sidelight is a blatant copy of the new 5 series (which has orange side lights as the eyebrow, in addition to the 'angel eyes' circling the headlights). I also don't like the little slot between the fan grille and the bumper's air intake. Makes it look a bit fussy.

But I do like the panoramic roof, and the 3 door looks better without a spoiler.

I'm just waiting for Justin to get excited over the fact that the rear lights on the 5 door look like they've come straight off a Volvo

Gees, this is the COOLEST car in the world !!!, I didn't like the look of some of the new smaller citroens or the C5, witch my mum has, But this, this is awesome. If they bring out a HDi model in Aussie I might be able to convince my dad to buy one.

Just one question, Does this one have hydrolics ?

    But this, this is awesome.

I agree.....the c4 is stunning, especially the 3 door........I ve never bought a new car before.....but geee when the c4 arrives and if its a decent drive I just might....put my self in some debt....at least with a car like that you can always turn the radio OFF, park it down by the beach and just look at it....(not something you can do to your wife....no matter how stunning she is)
