Thought people might be interested in this CENSUS done a while ago on the main 2 DS sights as one can see some sort of an overall picture. It did show us that at the time, Australia fared well in having some of these cars on the road and as some early Slough cars were "shunted off" to the colonies in those early days,we in Australia seem to have the biggest number of Slough DS19's.
Ofcourse there were some that didn't participate but the figures I believe give a pretty good indication of what is around.
Also, because of the Census, there was the odd DS19 dragged in from "the outer paddock" to be looked after for history's sake so if for no other reason, these kind of achievements made the exercise worthwhile.
My main interest is the D model in all its different ways and a friendly love of the 2CV. --- John Paas

How many LONG STROKE BVH(Hydraulic Gearchange)cars are left in the
world. Are people driving them and where??
Must be Longstroke with HYDRAULIC gearchange (BVH). GEARSTICK SITS
VERTICALLY BEHIND THE TOP HALF OF STEERING WHEEL.
These rough figures are best to my knowledge and any criticisms and
updates are welcome ---Gilbert
