    Default touch-up paint

I've never struck so many blank responses to my enquiry about purchasing some Ivoire Borely (code 084) touch-up paint for my 'new' GS.

    Any suggestions for a supplier?

    Thank you, Brian.

Yes, I've just phoned them and Paint Supplies at West Lakes Boulevard can provide Ivoire Borely in any quantity from 250ml up.

Interesting you should say that, Bruce, because the small tin I had made up IS slightly lighter than the colour on the car, even though the label they printed and applied to the tin says: Ivoire Borely, code 084.

The car has certainly had some panel work done over the years (evidence of overspray here and there) so the other possibility is that the repair colour was tinted slightly darker.

Can you provide any more information on Ivory Borely v Borely Ivory, because I can only find one colour that's alternately called either of those names. Maybe there's another Citroen colour - of a different era - very similar to paint code 084?

Chris, assuming you are using Acrylic Lacquer, I have some tinters here. If you're interested I may be able to dig out the formula.
AS you have probably discovered most painters have ditched the same.Just changed the belts idler pulleys today on my GS ..

there is no way I would order by colour code.... take the fuel flap in and get them to match it for you!
