    Default C6 v C5 front suspension

Does the front suspension differ much between the C6 and C5 X7 either structurally or electronically ?

    I believe they're fairly similar.

I think the hydraulics differ in the C6. The same wishbone system is used for the C5 ,C6, P407 and P508GT. The steel spring versions have a shock absorber and spring fiited instead of a hydraulic srrut.

The C6 has an electronically controlled damper system which I think some of the C5X7s can get.

Others may know more about whether any of the C5X7 that came to Australia had the damping control system fitted as an upgrade to the Hydractive 3+ that the basic models have.

    Cheers, Ken

Thought I would sort of answer my own question. Thanks to the C6owners.org site the C6 has AMVAR ( ? whatever the details of that are ).
Do C5 X7s have wheel travel sensors ?

Anyway for all the electronics and acronyms the suspension on a D will always be so much better than a C5. C6 comes reasonably close.
