Default How to Order Spare Parts from Citroen via France and UK

    Hi Froggers,

Over the last few years, I have been ordering new parts from Citroen via the Auto Midi Lorient website citroen-accessories.com. I have had to pay french GST but the prices have been good and shipping very reasonable. However since the beginning of this year 2019, this website seems to be in a rebuild phase and just displays a 'we will be back really soon' message. I have tried sending emails to addresses they have used in the past but there is no response.

I have decided that I need to find another route to purchase new parts from Citroen for my C5 and Xantias.

Does anyone else have any resellers or connection into Citroen direct that offers good service with reasonable pricing and shipping charges?

I realise that if I put some euros into my servicebox citroen service account that I may be order parts direct. Has anyone tried this and how well does it work?

    Cheers, Ken

    You can go there:
    https://www.accessoires-midiauto-cit...par-dopra.com/

and select "pieces detachees" (spare parts) and go on from there. Any trouble with translation, I'm here to help anytime.

This is the same company you mentioned, but this link seems to work.

I've tried to order bits from them this year.

They don't seem to accept shipping to Australia anymore, since the GST thing, I guess.

Well Harrison seems to have found a french web page that is very similar to their old website and it has the 'Ma Pieces' logo on it too. It has the box to enter the citroen part number and you get a price in euros. It is disappointing that they seem to have stopped shipping to Australia.

Has anyone found any other suppliers that would provide this service?

Has anyone ordered parts through through the Citroen Service website and can tell me how it went?

    Cheers, Ken

    Ken ,

    Their email is: [email protected]
Why not flick them a quick email, you may still be able to order via email and possibly pay with paypal or similar...

By the way Ma Pieces doesn't stand for My Pieces unfortunately as everyone might expect, but rather:
m-a are the initials of Midi-Auto and pieces means spare parts so Midi Auto spare Parts.

As a matter of fact as I realized I had an old account with them, I've just emailed them that exact question. Keep you posted.

Always ask for ex VAT price This is 18 or 20 % less as it is an export item

Ken, I have now received an email reply from Midi-Auto parts, and they state that they are happy to take orders and post to Australia. So if you wish to go ahead, let me know, and I'll put you in touch with the actual contact to talk to.

That company looks promising. I should do a trial purchase to see how they go. And they do FIAT too which is interesting seeing I now have a Ducato based Campervan.

Due to Harvey...(not to mention last name) 10%+ GST thing, have wrapped up my car restoration interests. I am keen however, to keep my brood on the road

Been staying closer to home with Cit parts lately (support the local fella & they will always be there stuff?)

Recently told by EAI the Xantia brake valve boot is no longer manufactured, nor available.

reganmotors.com.au have taken on CitroŽn parts and got the boot $29 (collect) within 2.5 weeks. Maybe you pay a little more locally but without hassles (eg. 4 months for HEL motorbike brake lines return) - food for thought

    Don't get me started!!!!

What's with the "import duties" from the UK on EBay? It is NOT 10%!
Is the GST charged by overseas companies (who are clearly NOT operating a BAS in Australia) going to the Australian government? Don't think so.
    Sorry, rant over.
