    Default ' 04 C5 immobilizer fault

Yeah yeah everyone Carlo5 strikes again. Wife dropped off child 1 at school turned off car. Jumped back in started and re parked. We to start no joy..immobilizer fault appeared.

Talk her through key re sync and BSI reset in front of other parents waiting for the carpark...no joy. Car left all day.

I arrive lock and unlock a couple of times so central locking works. Key in to accessories went to re sync beep heared. Lock and unlock car started 1st time.

Drove home went for a drive parked up.

Attempted start 1st time no problem 2nd to 100th time immobilizer fault.

Diagbox is not working as unable to activate thats another story.

So throw me some ideas while Carlo5 sits patiently

    Hey Dimi,
Clutching at straws but I'd eliminate the easy things first. . .

New battery in the key fob?

    Cheers

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

Battery in fob only required for central locking.

I'm going out to give the car battery a charge as now getting all the wonderful ESR/ Wiper fluid/ gear fault which indicates battery is on it's way out from others experience.

    Let see what happens. 😢

Proving that the simple fix is often the right fix! Good result.
