    Default D ID headlight globes

Quick question about main beam high beam 40/45 globe..The original spherical globes are soon to be unavailable..I found one..no doubt the Chinese have/will have a replica..however is it possible to use the tube shaped halogens in place of the sphere..is that going to mess with the light projection?

Not an issue. The shape of the globe is not what determines the efficacy of the headlight. What is critical is the location of the light source (that is, the filament) within thr headlight So, if these replacement globes have been correctly designed and manufactured they will have the filaments at the same spot from the back of the "globe".
