Default DS Carby brass barb replacement thread

    Hi all
IIRC there was a thread that explains the process for replacing the carby fuel inlet tube. Richo,s advice featured prominently in the thread?
    Kind regards

The Dťesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Dťesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

After stumbling across the original thread I got one of Richo's kits over here in the UK and fitted it to my Weber. When i finally got round to fitting it, I covered the process in my blog as part of the carb rebuild:

It also includes a link back to an earlier post of mine that is also related.

Thank you. Well the engine is still out of the car, but the carb is fitted and the engine runs. So that's a good sign!

I'm glad the carburettor works after you gave it such a shock!
